Ambre – Co-founder of Wing Foil Las Terrenas & Co-manager of Cocokite
29 years old – Passionate instructor
Ambre grew up in the Dominican Republic from the age of 6, always connected to the ocean. From a very young age, she developed a deep passion for board sports: first surfing, then kitesurfing.
IKO Level 2 certified since 2015, she has been teaching and working in the watersports world for many years.
In 2022, a trip to Brazil introduced her to wing foiling—a true love at first sight that transformed her practice and strengthened her desire to share it.
An entrepreneur at heart, Ambre co-manages Cocokite with her father before later creating Wing Foil Las Terrenas, the natural continuation of her journey and her passion for gliding sports.
Today, she shares her energy, kindness, and love for the sport with every student, carrying a deep connection to the sea and to the Dominican Republic, the country of her heart.

Julien – Co-founder, Wing Foil Instructor
35 years old – BPJEPS GADA certified (France)
Julien, originally from the south of France, has been practicing watersports since the early 2000s.
BPJEPS GADA certified since 2021, he is now the co-founder of Wing Foil Las Terrenas as well as a kitesurf and wing foil instructor.
For the past three years, he has been returning to the Dominican Republic every winter for the wind season, where he teaches and shares his expertise on the waters of Las Terrenas.
Passionate, patient, and always smiling, he loves to spread his contagious enthusiasm. For him, every moment spent on the water is a new opportunity to learn, progress, and share.
His teaching style is rooted in his deep love for the unique sensations of wing foiling, which he delivers with precision, safety, and good energy.
Eli – Wing Foil Instructor & Assistant, Kitesurf Instructor & Sports Masseur
26 years old – Dominican
Born in Las Terrenas, Eli grew up between the wind and the waves. Passionate about the ocean from a young age, he became a kitesurf instructor early on and has been teaching for several years. He later trained in wing foiling within Wing Foil Las Terrenas and quickly made it one of his favorite disciplines.
Calm, attentive, and reliable, Eli guides students with gentleness and professionalism. On the water, he provides both assistance and supervision, creating a safe environment for learning and progressing.
Off the spot, Eli is also a sports masseur and produces his own handmade coconut oil, ideal for muscle recovery after a session. His massages perfectly complement the wing or kite experience, bringing relaxation and well-being.
Deeply rooted in his island and always smiling, Eli is a true pillar of the school.
Lola – Wing Foil Instructor & Assistant
26 years old – Dominican Republic
Lola grew up in the Dominican Republic, close to the sea, though she wasn’t initially drawn to watersports. But two years ago, she discovered wing foiling… and everything changed. A true passion was born — natural, unexpected, and growing stronger every day.
Trained within Wing Foil Las Terrenas, she is now a wing foil instructor — particularly for French-speaking students — and she also assists on the beach as well as during group lessons.
Gentle, patient, and very attentive, Lola supports students with calm and kindness, creating a safe and pleasant environment, ideal for learning and progressing.
Her positive energy, sensitivity, and this passion she found almost by chance make her a unique and valuable presence in the school.
Where It All Started
Wing Foil Las Terrenas was born from a passion, but above all from a desire: to create a place where the wind brings people together.
In the beginning, it was just a few boards and a handful of riders on the beach… then people started joining us, asking questions, coming back the next day.
One session, one smile, one conversation… and without even noticing it, a community was born — open, simple, and authentic, just like Las Terrenas.
Today, Wing Foil Las Terrenas is more than an activity.
Our school is a true place of connection: you learn to glide, yes, but you also come for the vibe, the good energy, and that unique spirit that makes our village so special.
